Since its founding in 2017, Qwello GmbH has been advancing the energy transition through innovative charging solutions. Electric vehicle drivers can reserve charging stations in optimal locations across more than seven countries via an app. The cable is provided directly at the charging station and is easy to use, requiring only a payment method. As of 2024, users in five German states can already benefit from this forward-thinking charging network.

Qwello’s sensor technology automatically detects and reports occupied charging stations, saving users time by preventing unnecessary trips to already in-use stations. This sets new standards for customer experience. The intuitive app allows users to monitor the charging process and associated costs at any time. Electricity costs are billed at purchase price, making them even lower than standard household electricity rates.

Sustainability is a core component of Qwello’s philosophy, which is why only certified green electricity meets their high standards. The charging stations offer 99.9% availability, supported by extensive remote maintenance functions, real-time monitoring of all stations, and a restart feature.

The charging stations are designed for use in urban and public spaces, financed through private investment capital, and thus independent of government funding programs and compliant with metrological regulations. Development, manufacturing, and value creation are entirely conducted in Germany.

As of 2024, Qwello’s charging solutions are available in Germany, France, the Netherlands, Austria, Poland, Spain, Sweden, and the United Kingdom.
