In an internationally highly competitive sector such as the aviation industry, where one is competing against multinational corporations, research and development represent one of the most important long-term corporate pillars and success factors. Appropriate government funding for research and development makes a significant contribution to ensuring that these technologically very risky and yet success-critical research and development activities can be carried out to their full extent.

In the last few years before the cooperation with Inspiralia, however, these possibilities were not used enough.
